The World Health Organisation (WHO) has identified a serious air pollution problem that is literally killing thousands of people worldwide each year. To try and combat this problem a new ISO standard for air filters has been introduced. This standard will take approximately 18 months to implement. It is crucial for all of us in the air conditioning and filtration industries to be aware of the new standard.

Filters Direct in association with Afpro Filters of the Netherlands have arranged for Joost Verlaan a committee member of both Eurovent and the global ISO 16890 committee to present a seminar on the changes taking place. If you are involved in the HVAC industry you need to gain this knowledge. Joost will also present information on the latest developments in energy saving filter media as manufactured by Afpro Filters. The energy saving components form a critical part of the new ISO 16890 standard.
